Silo Top Maintenance

Regularly check the top cover plate for integrity, tighten bolts, and regularly inspect the top platform for maintenance to prevent leaks from the feed hole, platform plate, and rainproof ring. Check for rust spots on component surfaces; treat any rust spots promptly. Regularly inspect the welds of the entire welded top of the silo and determine necessary anti-corrosion treatment based on the inspection.

Regularly check process ports (including ventilation holes, manholes, temperature measurement holes, valve seats, etc.) for external corrosion and leaks.

Silo Maintenance

Each time the steel silo is filled or emptied, inspect the silo walls for deformation. Carefully observe sensitive parts, such as the support legs, and properly maintain inspection records. Inspect the silo wall corrosion annually, based on the anti-corrosion treatment of the silo wall.

After each silo reduction, check the vehicle body and door sealing for good quality, check for cracks around the silo doors, and inspect the connection between the reinforcing steel and the warehouse walls. If the BIN has a conical bottom, the root of the cone should be inspected for corrosion or other treatments should be applied, depending on the inspection results.

Check the ladder's mounting bolts annually for looseness, and based on the inspection, check the materials used for damage, and apply anti-corrosion or other treatments.
