Product Introduction
The vertical lime kiln is a compact, stable, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly lime calcination equipment widely used across multiple industries including steel, metallurgy, building materials, cement, chemicals, environmental water treatment, and road engineering. Its operating principle involves using limestone as the primary raw material to efficiently produce high-quality quicklime through an integrated process of preheating, calcination, and cooling, meeting diverse demands for lime products across various sectors.
Our equipment features a rational overall layout, compact footprint, and low investment costs, making it ideal for small to medium-sized lime production lines. Raw materials are uniformly fed into the kiln top and slowly descend under gravity. Combustion air is injected at the bottom, flowing upward to create counter-current heat exchange with the material. The kiln is sequentially divided into preheating, calcination, and cooling zones from top to bottom, achieving high thermal efficiency and lower energy consumption.

Upper Section: Preheating Zone
Limestone is fed from the top
Heated by high-temperature flue gas rising from below
Dried and preheated to prepare for calcination

Middle Section: Calcination Zone (Core)
Temperature reaches 900–1200°C
Limestone (CaCO₃) decomposes under heat
Converting limestone into quicklime (CaO)

Lower Section: Cooling Zone
Calcined lime continues downward
Cooled by incoming cold air from kiln base
Preheated air enters calcination zone, enabling waste heat recovery and energy savings

Base: Discharge Zone
Cooled lime is uniformly and continuously discharged via discharge machine
Completes the entire production process
