Performance Features

 

1. The SM40 processes materials with thicknesses ranging from 2–4mm, delivering stable and reliable forming and bending capabilities to meet the manufacturing needs of medium-thickness steel silos.

2. When using 495mm-wide strip material, the effective forming width is approximately 350–370mm. It offers high forming precision and robust interlocking structures, making it suitable for continuous production.

3. The equipment can manufacture spiral steel silos with diameters ranging from 4–20m, covering common silo requirements. Forming and bending speeds are approximately 4–6m/min, achieving a good balance between efficiency and forming quality.

Spiral Forming Machine

The SM40 forming machine optimizes structural design and adjustment range for arcs in silos ranging from 4 to 20 meters in diameter. It addresses industry pain points such as uneven arcs in medium-to-large silos and the need for secondary corrections after forming. Featuring multiple sets of progressive forming rollers integrated with an upgraded cam drive system, it ensures smooth forming of 2-4mm thick heavy plates while preventing issues like plate cracking and stress concentration caused by single-pass forming.

 

Bending Machine

The SM40 Bending Machine focuses on upgraded seaming dies and drive systems. Leveraging optimized German-imported seaming technology, it achieves tight seaming of heavy plates. This ensures silo body sealing integrity and load-bearing capacity, meeting the long-term bulk material storage demands of medium-to-large silos. Bending speeds reach 4-6 meters per minute, enabling continuous spiral forming for silos ranging from 4 to 20 meters in diameter without segmented welding.
