Lime Kiln Nodulation: Nodulation is a common fault in lime kilns, mainly caused by incomplete combustion or excessive impurities in the raw materials. To resolve this, the kiln should be shut down, the nodules cleaned, and combustion parameters adjusted to ensure complete combustion.
Kiln Air Leakage: Air leakage in the kiln body affects the temperature and atmosphere inside the kiln, leading to a decrease in lime quality. To resolve this, the kiln's sealing should be checked, and leaks repaired promptly.
Poor Ash Discharge: Poor ash discharge may be caused by blockage at the ash discharge port or a malfunction in the ash discharge mechanism. To resolve this, the ash discharge port should be cleaned, and the ash discharge mechanism checked for proper functioning.
Combustion System Faults: Combustion system faults include burner blockage and unstable flame. To resolve this, the burner should be cleaned, combustion parameters adjusted, and a stable flame ensured.
To ensure the normal operation of lime kiln equipment, a reasonable maintenance cycle and plan should be formulated based on the equipment's usage and production needs. Generally, daily maintenance should be performed, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection; periodic maintenance should be arranged according to the specific condition of the equipment, such as a comprehensive inspection and maintenance every month or quarter.
